Hello, Momo: Davines Expands Its Sustainable Hair + Body Care Line Especially for W Hotels

In collaboration with W Hotels, Davines has developed a clean-beauty hair and body collection for hotel guests, adding three new products to a trio of fan favorites.

If, soon, you happen to notice unfailingly glossy hair and glowing skin on everyone around you in a W Hotel, there’s a good reason for that. Davines, the renowned Italian hair care brand known for its posh salons and sustainable products, has partnered with W Hotels to introduce a line of premium hair and body care essentials for hotel guests. Adding three cult favorites from the Momo collection to three new products made exclusively for this partnership, the clean beauty brand can now be enjoyed in every guest room of every W Hotel worldwide.

Founded in Parma, Italy in 1983, Davines built its brand on a foundation of harmony, good taste, and an appreciation for individual beauty. Its products are acclaimed for their adherence to clean beauty standards, as well as their makers’ dedication to sustainability.

Davines was the first Italian company in the cosmetics sector to join the Zero Impact Project by LifeGate, which aims to compensate for CO2 emissions through reforestation projects. To date, the company has offset more than 2 million kg of CO2 through the creation and/or safeguarding of forests in Italy, Costa Rica, and Madagascar. Since 2006, its adoption of the Manifesto of Sustainable Beauty has been a guiding principle across the brand’s operations.

For its collaboration with W Hotels, six products will be made available in each W Hotels guest room. The familiar Momo shampoo, conditioner, and body wash comprise the basis of the series, with three new products — a Skin Regime facial wash, body lotion, and vegetable soap — rounding out the collection.

Each product shares the same scent profile: that of the Cartucciaru melon, grown in Italy on a family farm. This fruit in particular is produced in conjunction with Slow Food Presidia, an environmental project that sustains quality production of foods at risk of extinction, protects unique regions and ecosystems, recovers traditional processing methods, and safeguards native breeds and local plant varieties.

In addition to the Italian melon’s place in the pantheon of the sustainability movement, its fresh, subtle fragrance is also noteworthy. Containing vitamins A and C, potassium, phosphorus, and zinc, the melon’s extract is known for its hydrative properties, and as a result, all Momo and Skin Regimen products are gently cleansing, deeply hydrating, and naturally fragranced.

With lab-inspired, minimalist packaging and cult status in the realm of luxury body care, these products are an added incentive to book a stay with W Hotels.
